One of the world's largest outfitters of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear opened its newest retail outlet in Rogers, Minnesota in October, 2005 after breaking ground only eight months earlier. Behind the merchandise and impressive displays at Cabela's is the work of Larson Electric Systems, Inc., LeJeune Steel, Doody Mechanical, Inc., API Supply, Inc. and Viking Automatic Sprinkler Company. The new location is Cabela's third store in Minnesota, and their largest, and is located on approximately 40 acres about ten miles northwest of Minneapolis near the intersection of I-94 and MN-Highway 101. The 185,000 square foot store also serves as an educational and entertainment attraction that is expected to draw more than 6 million visitors annually.
